In 1990, our first Sauvignon Blanc vines were planted on the Homestead Vineyard at Jackson Estate. Low cropping levels, gentle handling and minimal winemaking intervention ensure our wines maintain varietal integrity. The maturity of our Sauvignon Blanc vines brings concentration, texture and balance, resulting in wines that are expressive yet refined in bottle. Each vintage captures the essence of Marlborough, while revealing a more nuanced, age-worthy interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc — a true reflection of place, vine and time.

The owner and founder of te Pa, Haysley MacDonald, traces his ancestry back to some of the earliest arrivals of Maori to the country, some 800 years ago so the brand has a unique history. One of just a handful of independently-owned Maori wineries in New Zealand, te Pa has authenticity and provenance in spades.
